About us:
The WFHS Interact Club is a service-oriented leadership organization sponsored by the Florence West Rotary Club. The name Interact stands for "international action," highlighting the club's focus on local service and global understanding. As one of over 14,000 clubs in 145 countries, the WFHS Interact Club is one of Rotary's fastest-growing youth programs, aiming to develop leadership skills while fostering a spirit of "Service Above Self."
The WFHS Interact Club adopted its Charter and Bylaws in the fall of 2026. Their first project is a display of 250 American flags from Election Day through Veterans Day on the school grounds. The flags honor or are in memory of military or first responders, and are made possible by donations from members of the community.

A moving display of American flags will stand proudly on the grounds of West Florence High School in honor of those who are currently serving and in memory of those who have served and protected our nation and local communities.
Honoring Our Armed Forces and First Responders
The West Florence High School Interact Club invites students, families, staff, and community members to participate in the 2026 WFHS Flag Display Project. A moving display of American flags will stand proudly on the grounds of West Florence High School in honor of those who are currently serving and in memory of those who have served and protected our nation and local communities.
Each 3'x5' premium flag will be mounted on an 8-foot pole and displayed prominently across the grounds of West Florence High School. During the display, the names of all military personnel and first responders being honored or memorialized will be displayed publicly.
Display Details and Key Dates
- Display Location: West Florence High School Grounds
- Donation Window: September 28th through November 2nd
- Display Duration: Monday, November 2nd (day before Election Day) through Friday, November 13th
- Flag Specifications: outdoor-resistant 3'x5' American flags with embroidered stars, mounted on 8-foot poles
- Sponsorship Fee: $75 per flag
How to Sponsor a Flag
Members of the community can donate or sponsor a flag in honor of a loved one who is serving or in memory of someone who has served in the Armed Forces or as a First Responder. Donations can be submitted through two methods:
- Online Payment (Credit Card): Use the online donation section to the right. This allows immediate submission of honoree details and provides an automated receipt for tax purposes.
- Check Payment: Complete the form below and attach a check payable to the WFHS Interact Club, 221 N. Beltline Drive, Florence, SC 29501.
